Tempest Recruitment are now recruiting for an Exe Sous Chef for a Client outside Dublin.

The right candidate will be a chef with experience and looking to take the next step in their career. They must have a passion for delivering quality and the ability to manage an team.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Chef qualifications .
  • Must have previous experience as a Junior Sous or Sous Chef in a 4* star hotel/restaurant kitchen
  • Ensure that food is top quality and that the kitchen is in good condition.
  • Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards and presentation.
  • Proven success at leading a team to achieve high standards
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and motivational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of food and food trends along with a passion for cooking
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP /Kitchen management
  • Honest, reliable and hardworking
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cost structures and budget

    I am a qualified Executive Chef by trade, and prior to emigrating to Ireland, was the Chief Operations Officer of a large-scale Multi-Site Corporate contract catering company (of which I am still a shareholder of based in South Africa), with over 30 years’ experience in every area of the catering including operations, from 5 Star Hotels to Blue Chip corporate clients. I was put through the entire process and brought all the same procedures back to South Africa, implemented into my company and am very proud to say, currently are the market leaders in the industry regarding Health, Safety and Hygiene, as well as the HACCP principles.
